The view from train near Thun.

As soon as train arrived in Interlaken Ost, we followed crouds, rushed to the next train with everybody else. I planned to go to Lauterbrunnen but somehow this train went to Grindelwald. (Ooops!) , and we had to change our plan. Per Alice's request, we should get to the top of the mountains. After studied all the material we could find (German mostly), and asked at least 4 people, we took a cable car to Mannlichen.

Grindelwald:

From Mannlichen, view of Junfrau (Europe highest mountain) is impressive.

After lunch,we took another cable from Mannlichen to Wengen.
Map of the transportation in this region can be found at
Junfrau region map
Wengen is definitely the place for couple of more nights to stay next time!
There are 6km between Wengen to Lauterbrunnen. Three of our family members not including me wanted walk towards Lauterbrunnen! The walk was steep and long and tiring but the view was rewarding.

It took us more than 1.5 hr to get to Lauterbrunnen. The sign to go to post bus was not clear at all. Most of people (not many people there to start with) only speak German. Then, we saw and heard a group of Chinese, laud and clear! I almost run to them to ask for direction. One of them who looked like the guide of this group hesitated and reluctantly pointed the direction and walked away quickly. 这样的同胞让人心寒! The post bus finally took us to Trummelbachfalle.
"Trümmelbachfälle, situated at the eastern side of the Lauterbrunnen valley. These waterfalls are meltwater, coming directly from the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Thousands of liters per second rumble down in beautifully worn out rock walls. In the course of thousands of years the water slowly grinded the rocks into remarkable shapes." Bring a jacket is not a bad idea. We met a mid-aged American Caucasian on the way. He stayed in Taiwan for 7 years then 5 years in Mainland and spoke perfect Chinese. ... mmm..
